You haven't met me, but I was a great mate of Dan the Man. I was at PE College with him, taught with him, played a lot of rugby with him and yes - had the odd beer!!
Wanted to say a big well done on winning the cup - fantastic result for Goalie and Coach. You have to be better than me Mikey - I gave up being a goalie through lack of talent then ruined Leith Accies with my performances at rugby!!
Dougie/Dan would have been so pleased for you both - fantastic, and he would have gone on and on for weeks in the pub! I'm sure he was up there whooping and cheering you on to victory.
We have family in Clontarf, and will give you a shout when we next visit. We love Sydney, so just a matter of time and money!
