Hanging by a Thread

Still here -
but language
gone missing.
Temporary blip ?
Who remembers
Sparky
and his lost echo ?

LOOK CLOSELY NOW by Diane Doubtfire
Look closely now, I beg you
Hold your breath
And feast on every fragment of your world.
No flower is ever quite the same again,
The light on every stone and leaf unique.
I lost this morning, thinking back,
Feeling again the pain of yesterday;
I lost this sun, this shining grass, that bird,
Never in all my life to be reclaimed.
So feast on every morsel of your day
And hold your breath, rejoice
That you can see and feel and understand.
Look closely now before it is too late.

Hope this helps.

hi
is Sparky from around the same time as Ed the Talking horse or Muffin the Mule?
Bring on the Wooden Tops or Andy Pandy and Looby Loo!
Cheers

Hi. My copy is a dialogue between the boy and Sparky. At the end, the boy's mum thinks he can play the piano but really it's Sparky. I love it.
